My Pool.......#202 Color Combos Galore

This is for the color challenge at Color Combos Galore #202........with cherry, lime, green, and white wash being the colors! I didn't have any white washed wood paper, so I used the cardboard instead. I did a ton of cut work, added some butterflies, and also added a stamped image of a mushroom I colored with distress inks, since the color was perfect! If you blow up pictures and look close, in the smaller picture you see Dorothy (my dog) swimming, which she loves! In fact it's "her" pool! Also in the large picture, look between the rails, in the pasture you will see the Elk out there, middle of day, they just come in and hang out! Thanks for takin'a peek! Teresa*

"Box Book" Card..............3-D!!!!!!!

Magnolia Down Under 3-D......they had me putting on the ole' thinkin' cap!!Again.....a ton of pictures, but I was trying to capture the 3-D effect of the box book "CARD" that I made! My first attempt at the 3-D style, fun but very time consuming! Took me all day to do this, and part of the next evening too! I not only made Tilda 3-D, but, the page next to her, I made it 3-D too! I cut out the matching flowers, layered them over the existing flowers, using the technique that makes them appear 3-D! I sure hope you can see it in some of these pictures! I made my own scene for the background for Tilda....the sun, clouds, grass, and butterflies are also made 3-D!! The page opposite Tilda is so cool with all it's 3-D flowers....sure wish you could see it in real life.....I added some material covered brads to the edge of book, added some lace, a book plate(also my first attempt at a box book-made into a card) and had a ball making this! Will try this technique again! I didn't add any journaling or names....this will be a very special gift for someone someday! This is also for Hanna and Friends(summer), Fairytale challenge(summer, sun, sunshine), Paper Playtime(summer),Anything Goes(flowers),
Lexi's Creations(A shaped card),Flutterby Wednesday(butterfly), Craft Us Crazy(anything goes),
Fresh Brewed challenge(shaped card).. Thanks for takin' a peek! Teresa*

Christmas Decorations in July!!

I know.....a ton of pictures! Sun wasn't very bright this morning so took some with the white background, and some with black, so you could see tags better! I made these little "hanging" decorations for the tree with Tilda and her pig! I also made a TePee card......but it is not just a card, I added ribbon to the top and you can hang it too! Thought it would make an awesome little gift pack! I didn't use your normal Xmas colors either......while going through my stash, I ran across that blue snowflake paper, and decided to use it, since I've always thought it was so very pretty! Added a ton of layered snowflakes, colored Tilda with distress inks, added pretty pink pearls and some pretty little bows too! This is for Totally Tilda(Xmas decorations), Delightful Challenges(Xmas in July), Creative Inspirations (Xmas in July), Paper Creations Ink. (Xmas in July). Thanks for stoppin' by and takin'a peek! Magic Of Oz- Dorothy! Ya-hoooo Dorothy won "If The Shoe Fits-Scrap IT!!"

OMG......Graphic 45 made this paper line just for me.......they had to.....since my all time fav movie is The Wizard Of Oz.....my little best friend is a Cairn Terrier(same as Toto), and I named her Dorothy! So as you can see.......it had to be for me!!! I had an absolute ball making this lo.....stayed up till 1:00 this morning making it!! I used one of my fav pictures of Dorothy, she's laying down on back of chair......so I surrounded her in the "poppies"! I used the sketch from Get Picky, and it was so much fun to work with! I scattered the "Ruby" slippers everywhere, I used the famous characters up in the corner, and I added some bight red stickles to Dorothy's name! A couple small bows and you have it! I truly hope you like it....I love it! This is for Get Picky, If The Shoe Fits-Scrap It! Thanks for stoppin' by! Teresa*

A Summer Scene..........

I know...there are a ton of pictures, but I ended up taking two sets.....one has the white background, and it's kind of hard to see the card, then I took more with black background! I used a couple of my new stamps on this one! I made the flowers using my own template I made a year ago. I added a fence using my MS punch, made the bow out of seam binding which I dyed with distress inks. Also the scene, Tilda, And Edwin are all colored with distress inks. I also added some of my fav lace to this, and some hand made roses to the little fence! This is for Magnolia Down Under(scene), Magnolia Stamp Lovers(summer colors), Stampavie(Birthday). I hope you like it, and thanks so much for stopppin' by! Teresa*

Serve & Protect - Once Upon A Sketch (July 15-quote is "Declaration of Independence")

This is for the sketch challenge at Once Upon A Sketch (July 15th).......and this is a picture of Dorothy during our 4th of July camping trip! I chose the new Bo Bunny paper, it was perfect for this lo, 4th of July and all! I did alot of cut work, cutting out stars and circles for placing all around lo. The title was also incorporated because of the theme of lo! I hope you can see the detail, and dimension to this, the colors are so close it makes it a little hard to see in pics! I also did the journaling in pieces, I love that effect! I almost forgot......part of the challenge was a "quote" and if you look at the background paper, it has the "Declaration of Independence" on it....hope this works!!!!Thanks so much for takin'a peek at Dorothy!
